Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita is best known as the actress who played Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem was a young actress who started her journey as an actor at age nine at Iceland's National Theater, is best recognized for her role as Jane Seymour. She was a child actor in Iceland and was a part of TV and radio plays. When she was 16, Briem was transferred to London and was a part of an event for the theatre of the show Lenin in Love at The New End Theater. Briem was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for 3 years and earned the diploma of Drama. While studying at RADA, he performed in various plays such as The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov in addition to the play Bernarda Alba's house by Federico Garcia Lorca.
